Weddings
A wedding is the perfect moment to receive a tailored blessing for your sacred commitment. Collaborating with you as a couple, I create a service that incorporates your core values with the unique elements of your love story. Traditions new and old are woven into this holy moment to bless you as you establish the foundation of your relationship through this timeless ritual.
I am proud to have officiated interfaith weddings, LGBTQPlus weddings, and destination weddings--and excited to work with you to make sure there is more love in the world!
Funerals, Unveilings, and Shiva
At times of loss, comfort, guidance, and pastoral presence offer a healing balm. As your rabbi, I make sure to spend time with you before the funeral in order to learn about the precious life of your loved one and make certain we lay them to rest with dignity and honor, kindness and grace. Each service acts to lift up the memory of your dear one and offers solace for you and your family as you walk through the valley of loss.
B'nai Mitzvah Ceremony and Tutoring
It is an honor to prepare a young person for this unique rite into Jewish adulthood. I work with teens to prepare them for the special day. Whether it is officiation for the special day, or tutoring preparation beforehand, I am available to coach and prepare you for this momentous occasion. Courses of study can be tailored and individualized to your unique needs.
Baby Namings
Welcoming a precious baby into your family and the world is a time honored part of our tradition and one of life’s great miracles. I fashion ceremonies to bless your baby’s name and weave your family history and community into this sacred moment.
House Blessings
Moving into a home is a momentous occasion in a person’s life. In the Jewish tradition we affix a mezuzah to make sure the home is divinely protected, and to ensure that it becomes a haven for the sustenance and abundance of life. It would be my honor to bless your home and incorporate interfaith traditions in order for you to have a fresh and sacred beginning in your new space.
